A Passion for Fishing
Growing up in Upper Michigan, I spent thousands of hours hunting and fishing with my dad, grandparents, and brothers. At one time, we had a blog called the U.P. Pro Staff where we posted our catches. That has turned into a lifelong passion, and I am always looking for a new product to be invented that can help anglers get to where the fish are, and catch more fish!

Lake Whitefish Obsession
In 2020 I went to Door County and targeted my first whitefish. I only caught one on my first trip with my wife Lisa, but I was hooked. Since then, I get after them as often as I can, and of late if the winter gets cold enough. I bring as many friends as I can and it is always a good time. The Magz Baddboyz jigs are put a hurt on the whitefish, and how fun to catch a fish that large in 20 to 80 feet of water?
